Located in Hoover, Lake Crest Animal Clinic offers pet boarding for cats and dogs so you can enjoy peace of mind while you're away.
Our facility at Lake Crest was designed while keeping your pet's comfort in mind. We provide a climate-controlled environment with spacious kennels, warm cozy bedding, and ample access to our outdoor yard to run and play with our kennel assistants.

We currently offer boarding for our canine and feline friends as well as select exotic species including birds, rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and more.
Accommodations
We offer spacious kennels with plenty of room for your pet to stretch its legs. They are ideal for larger breeds and come standard with comfy bedding. For our smaller breeds, we offer cozy bunks complete with soft bedding. They are especially ideal for toy breeds, as they tend to feel more secure, snuggled up in their own bunk.
- Kennels: 4'x6' for larger pets
- Bunks: can accommodate pets under 30 pounds
Each pet is able to enjoy individual playtime in our outdoor exercise area and is always under the supervision of a member of our staff.
All boarded pets are fed Purina EN, a premium diet proven to help reduce GI stress-related issues that can be caused by switching foods abruptly. If your pet has any special dietary restrictions or needs, please let us know and we will be happy to feed their own food if provided.
We accept personal toys, however, we do ask that you bring no more than two toys for your pet's stay. All personal belongings need to be permanently labeled with your pet's first and last name. If needed, we are able to assist with this at the time of arrival; just let our receptionists know.
Preventative Health Requirements
We are committed to your pet's safety during their stay with us and require that all pets be current on the following vaccinations:
- Dogs - Distemper/Parvo (DHPP), Rabies and Bordetella.
- Cats - FVRCP and Rabies.
*If your pet is under the care of another veterinary clinic, please bring a copy of their records. Pets will not be admitted without proof of vaccinations.*
