Surgery & Lab Work

At Lake Crest, our primary concern is your pet's comfort and safety during a surgical visit. As such, we endeavor to make their experience as stress-free and pleasant as possible.

Prior to surgery, one of our veterinarians will perform a thorough physical exam as well as any necessary lab work to ensure we can provide your pet with the best possible care.

When your pet has been discharged from the clinic, we are here and happy to answer any questions that you may have in regards to their continued recovery at home.

In-House Lab Work

To better serve our patients, we are able to perform a wide array of diagnostic testing in-house to help provide quick results as well as allow our veterinarians to determine the most appropriate treatment for your pet.

A few of the tests that our veterinary staff are able to process swiftly and accurately include:
  • Complete Blood Count (CBC)
  • Chemistry Profile
  • Intestinal Parasite Evaluation (fecal)
  • Urinalysis
  • Heartworm Test
  • Cytology

Digital X-Rays

A comprehensive physical exam does not always reveal problem areas. For this reason, we employ digital radiology to assist our veterinarians in making a diagnosis when the need arises. The benefits of digital radiographs over conventional radiographs include faster results, premium image quality, and less radiation exposure to your pets.
